Get Out: Spa Sentio Wants You To Glow On Thanksgiving

Visiting family and friends over the holidays is a bit like a high school reunion, except it happens EVERY. FREAKING. YEAR. You primp outrageously beforehand so that you look your best, rehearse the best ways to explain recent life events (“I’m not unemployed, I’m a freelancer in-between clients!”) and act like it’s all completely routine and natural.

This may be Spa Sentio’s first holiday season in Atlanta, but they’re already eager to get involved and help you out. This Thursday from 6pm to 9pm, they’re hosting a “pamper yourself before the holidays” event with brow treatments, airbrush make-up techniques, and mini-tutelage on mantra and chakra meditation from resident zenist Amy Sullivan. Plus, nibbles and sips to really make it a party–so you can start practicing ways to explain whatever happened to that graduate degree you were working on (“Oh, I decided to give my spot in the program to an underprivileged student!”).
