How many times have you seen a janky handbag in a department store and thought, “Man, my three-year-old nephew could design something better than that?”
Well, pull your nephew away from the kids’ table this Thanksgiving, or maybe give the contest a go yourself–Rebecca Minkoff and Polyvore want fans to create their own version of the popular Morning After Clutch…and the winner gets to have it produced, debuted during the designer’s New York Fashion Week Runway show, and sold online. Check the website for all the specific rules.
Minkoff herself will pick the top 10 designs, then fans will vote on their favorite December 1-8. So make sure you choose the nephew who’s really freaking popular in preschool.
