It was all over the runways for Spring 2011: garments in a bright, unflattering traffic cone orange shade. Not a soft pastel tangerine, but a color that looks good on few ladies. Seems like everyone is a bandwagon Auburn fan now. Who knew Cecil Newton had friends in the CFDA?
How to make it wearable: opt for the orange and white skirt from J. Crew instead of the button-down shirt, or at least don’t wear them together. Don’t wear the color too close to your face. Break it up with a jacket or blazer.
