It’s the dress that was heard ’round the world: Kate Middleton, the royal fiancee and future British queen, dug a year-old Reiss dress out of her closet for the official engagement photos with Prince William. Now, due to overwhelming popular demand, Reiss is bringing the dress back for Spring 2011. Named the Nanette dress, it will be available in Reiss boutiques and online starting on February 7. It will retail for $310. And it will probably sell out on the first damn day.

Although Reiss doesn’t have much of a presence in the States so far (nine total, with three in NYC and two in…Florida??), the growing demand for their clothes is causing them to think about expansion. The brand’s North American president told StyleList that the company is currently in talks with department stores like Bloomingdale’s to see about bringing their clothes to more markets.

Here’s hoping we’ll see some stylish Brit looks in Atlanta soon. The classic looks would do well here.
