What’s In Store: Santigold x Vans

Sometimes collabs really just look like something one of the brands would have made anyway, but decided that adding someone else’s brand to it could double the marketing value. Not so in the case of singer Santigold‘s hi-tops for Vans. These sneakers definitely have some Santigold soul in them–or at least some gold. The black perforated leather kicks feature draped chains and gold hardware that gives the show an original (albeit 80’s) look. Plus, each pair comes with an extra set of gold laces, just for those days that deserve extra bling. The shoe hit stores in February, retailing for $90.
