What’s In Stores: Target Re-releases 34 Best Dresses

21 Mar

Always leave ’em wanting more. Target’s limited-edition Go International collection, the blanket brand for their infamous designer collaborations, has brought back 34 dresses from years past just in time for spring. Those who missed out on the first time around can, theoretically, finally get their hands on that missed connection. There are dresses from Tucker, Zac Posen, Jovovich Hawk, Libertine, Alice Temperley, Proenza Schouler, Tracey Feith, Paul & Joe, Rodarte, Thakoon and more. Unfortunately, nothing from Liberty of London, JPG made the cut (two popular collabs).

As usual, the pieces look much better in Target’s lookbook than on the racks. But the price points can help most fashion-lovers overlook that. Of course, Target could help out by running a steamer over some of the garments before hanging them up, or at least shipping them better.

The fabrics are thin, the cuts unflattering, and the overall look kind of cheap. But depending on your body type, a few of these dresses may look good on you (the billowing looks can be great on a curvy figure or can be paired with a belt to create curves). As is normal with Target collabs, if you don’t go in looking for a knockoff so good that it looks like the real thing, you won’t be disappointed.
