Bargain Buzz: the beehive’s Bi-Annual Warehouse Sale

We are huge supporters of shopping local, and we consider it a huge bonus if you can save money while also supporting your community. This Saturday kicks off the nine-day Warehouse Sale at the beehive, an independent designer showcase in Edgewood. Shop early and shop often–early birds on Saturday will be rewarded with Wanderlust Cold Brew Coffee and Revolution Donuts, plus first pick of all the 40%-90% off goodies.  But late sleepers don’t fret, vendors will restock throughout the week!

Stock up on apparel, jewelry, housewares, gift items and more from over 50 local vendors. If you’re a crafty-type person, you’ll be able to scoop up discounted DIY supplies. Check out a full list of vendors and details here. Shop the extended kickoff Saturday from 9am till 7pm, or stop by during normal business hours (11:00am – 7:00pm, M-Sat; Noon – 5:00pm, Sunday). The sale ends on August 31.

Sale On: 70% Off at K-La Atlantic Station

It’s the season of the end-of-summer clearance, and K-la is pulling out all the stops. Everything at their Atlantic Station location is 70% off, from tops to bottoms to dresses to…well, all of it. Sale starts today, and it’s probably a smart idea to get down there before the goodies are gone.

It’s time for the twice-a-year event that is the closest Atlanta gets to a sample sale: the Boutique Bargains Warehouse Sale. It’s not so much a sample sale as several local stores pooling their clearance sections under one roof, but we’ll take it. The convenience of shopping multiple sales at once is hard to argue with.

This year the sale is at the Shops Around Lenox on July 25 and 26, in the former Roche Bobois space. They’ve got discounts from 50% to 70%, dressing rooms and a giant parking lot, but they only take cash or check–which is kind of a pain, so make note and don’t be That Girl. There’s a variety of shops participating this year, from Sandpiper to K-La, so there’s something for everyone. Highlighted brands  include lots of premium denim, Alexander Wang, Lilly Pulitzer, Joie, Rachel Pally, Moschino Cheap & Chic, DVF, Lauren Moffat, and more.

Bloomingdale‘s is having its Big Brown Bag sale on Memorial Day weekend, which means they’re marking down their sale stuff an extra 40%. Which is already a great sale. Plus, they sent out coupons for an additional 20% off to everyone on their mailing list. (Usually you can pick one up for yourself at the customer service/gift wrap counter.) When you count the bonus 20%, this is actually a really, really good sale by Bloomie’s standards, and it includes clothes, shoes and more. So carve out some time to stop by Perimeter or Lenox this weekend. Sale starts today.
